     Operating out of Wicklow Harbour, (home of the Internationally renowned Biannual ROUND IRELAND Yacht Race run by Wicklow S. C.) c.30 m/50 km South of Dublin, on the East/South East coast of Ireland within easy reach of all ports on the Irish Sea, SOUTH EAST CRUISING SCHOOL caters for aspiring and experienced sailors alike.

With an extensive Cruising range from South West Scotland to Lands End, South West Ireland to North East Ireland, there is much to see and do besides learning the fundamentals of Sailing and Navigational skills. Places like the Menai Straits, Isle of Man, Clyde Estuary, Scottish Isles, Strangford Lough, Carlingford Lough, Dublin Bay, Saltee Is., Kinsale, Fastnet Rock, Bere Island, SW Wales, the Bristol Channel, Cornwall, Isles of Scilly and Brittany, France to name but a few attractive & challenging possibilities.

     There are numerous areas of outstanding natural beauty, bird & wildlife sanctuaries, historical sites, lively towns, sleepy ports, remote anchorages and plenty of searoom with minimal sea going traffic to help you enjoy your sailing course.

       Most of our courses commence from Wicklow, but from time to time, we operate from other locations (see SCHEDULE), Irish and overseas, so check with us in case we might have something attractive for you. We could also be in Cork, Kilmore Quay, Wales, France, Turkey, Canaries and even the Caribbean. We normally meet at Wicklow Sailing Club at 2000 on Sundays (0900 on Saturday - Weekends) and join the boat for Safety Briefing and look at cruising options available to us for the week(end) ahead. Our trip is usually dictated by Wind & Tide, so the Scheduled trip might have to be changed, if adverse weather is forecast.
