COASTAL SKIPPER:
- For sailors wishing to go that step further -
day and night passages emphasising hands-on navigation/pilotage and skippering
- put your theory classes to the test - 5 day, 7 day or *3 weekends.
- Candidates undertaking this course should be
of Day Skipper standard, with a solid grounding in basic Sailing
techniques and Navigation with a minimum of 400NM cruising experience, planning
to undertake the Practical Exam in the near future.
- This course is designed to enhance your
existing skills, introduce you to more advanced techniques in boat
handling - power & sail, develop your skippering techniques, pilotage,
passage planning, night sailing, safety issues, application of Rules and
generally preparing you for the ISA Coastal Skipper (Yachtmaster Coastal)
Exam.
- Also, we offer an Intensive Weekend C.S.
exam preparation Course and we can possibly make our Boats available
for your exam.
