Introduction to Navigation

Course over 2 Saturdays in Wicklow SC

starting Sat 23rd February 2008 at 09.30am sharp

(2^nd Saturday to be agreed – probably 1^st March)

This course is a suitable foundation course for anyone wishing to go to sea – sailing, motorboating, angling, fishing etc. Topics covered will include basic navigation, tides, chartwork, rules of the road, safety, weather, knots, equipment, terminology and more. No prior knowledge needed.

Class packs will be supplied to all participants.

You will be required to have some equipment.

Cost is €170 p.p. –
